How to reach Kashmir from Karnal

By air

For flights, look at Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) or Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). A connection through Delhi is the usual way to reach Srinagar, and the road leg to the airport is part of your journey time. Nonstop flights have been listed on recent schedules from the airport mentioned above, but timetables change, so confirm before booking.

By train

You can take a train toward Jammu Tawi or Katra and continue to Srinagar by Vande Bharat or cab. It is a shorter rail journey than from most cities, but check IRCTC and add a day if you go by rail.

By road

Haryana sits close to Delhi and Chandigarh, so you have two major airports within reach and a short journey to Jammu by rail or road. That makes compact trips of four to six nights realistic.
