Our honeymoon packages combine Srinagar, a night on a Dal Lake houseboat, Gulmarg and Pahalgam, with Sonmarg and Gurez as options. Tell us your dates, group and budget and we will adjust any itinerary below.

What affects the price?

  • Travel month

    Hotel and transport prices change with the season. Tulip season, summer holidays and snowfall periods are usually busier.

  • Hotel category

    A standard hotel, a premium resort and a houseboat are very different in price and feel. Ask for exact hotel names and room type.

  • Group size

    A couple pays more per person for a private car than a bigger group does.

  • Vehicle

    Our listed packages state the vehicle type in the inclusions – check it matches the comfort you expect.

  • Activities

    Gondola tickets, pony rides and other activities are listed as exclusions – choose the ones you actually want.

Best time to visit Kashmir

There is no single best month – it depends on whether you want flowers, green valleys, autumn colours or snow.

March – April

Spring brings blossoms and Srinagar’s tulip season. Tulip Garden opening dates depend on the bloom and local announcements, so confirm before fixing dates.

May – June

Green valleys and comfortable days in Pahalgam, Sonmarg and Gulmarg. Popular with families and couples, so hotels fill early.

July – August

Lush meadows, with more rain and heavier traffic on some routes. Keep a time buffer and check road conditions before you travel.

September – October

Clear days, softer crowds and the first autumn colours – a good period for couples and photographers.

November – February

Winter: cold weather and the best chance of snow in Gulmarg, though snowfall can never be promised for a particular date.

How to reach Kashmir

By air: Srinagar Airport is the easiest arrival point; we plan pick-up around your flight timings. In winter keep a reasonable buffer in case weather affects flights.

By train and road: A Vande Bharat train connects Katra and Srinagar and was extended to Jammu Tawi in 2026. Timetables can change, so check IRCTC before you book. We can also arrange a cab from Jammu or Katra – see Kashmir cab booking.

Is Kashmir safe for tourists?

Travel conditions in Jammu and Kashmir can change, so check the latest advisory from the Indian government and your own country, along with airline and weather updates, before you book. Follow local authorities’ instructions and keep a buffer in your plan. We will tell you plainly what we know about the route and season you have in mind.

Which is the best Kashmir honeymoon package?
For most couples a 5-night/6-day plan gives the best balance of Srinagar, a houseboat night, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. If you have fewer days, a 3–4 night plan covers the highlights; with more time, longer plans add rest and extra places. See the list above and ask us to adjust the route.
How many days are enough for a Kashmir honeymoon?
Five to six nights suits most couples. Three to four nights works for a short break, and seven or more nights lets you slow down.
What is the price of a Kashmir honeymoon package?
Prices are quoted on request because they depend on your dates, hotel category, vehicle and number of travellers. Share your details and we will send a written quote with inclusions and exclusions.
Is a houseboat stay included?
Several of our honeymoon itineraries include a night on a Dal Lake houseboat – open each package to see the exact day and inclusions.
Are flights included?
Our packages are land packages that start and end at Srinagar. Flights and train tickets are not part of the listed inclusions.
Are Gulmarg Gondola tickets included?
No. Gondola tickets are listed under exclusions in our honeymoon packages, along with pony rides and optional guide charges.
Which is better for couples, Gulmarg or Pahalgam?
Gulmarg offers mountain views and seasonal snow activities; Pahalgam offers riverside stays and quiet valleys. Most honeymoon routes include both.
When is the best time for a honeymoon in Kashmir?
It depends on what you want: spring flowers and tulips, green summer valleys, autumn colours, or winter snow. See the month-by-month guide on this page.
Can I add Gurez Valley to my honeymoon?
Yes. We also run a Gurez Valley honeymoon package. Gurez packages are seasonal – our Gurez itineraries run from April to October.
Can the package be customised?
Yes. Hotels, nights, places and transport can be adjusted. Any change may change the price, so we send a revised itinerary before you confirm.
