After breakfast today, we go to Srinagar's famed Mughal gardens, including Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh (the Garden of Pleasure), Shankarcharya Temple, and Hazratbal Shrine (abode of love). These gardens are located along Dal Lake's shoreline. The bigger of the two gardens, Nishat Bagh, contains a stunning planting of Chinar trees on its topmost terrace. Both gardens were constructed using a symmetrical layout with centre rivers and fountains separating terraces with gardens. Stay the night in a hotel in Srinagar.
