Overview

Gurez Valley is renowned for its natural beauty, with its large forests, meadows, and pastures, all of which provide a tranquil atmosphere. The charming valley, tucked away among the tall mountains, served as the entrance to the renowned Silk Road, which connected Kashgar in China with Europe. It takes 6-7 hours to travel from Srinagar and 4-5 hours to travel from the Bandipora district in northwestern Kashmir, which are both located 86 and 123 kilometres apart, respectively. At an altitude of 8,000 feet, Gurez is bordered by the snow-covered high Himalayas, and the KishanGanga (known as the Neelum in Pakistan) river meanders through the valley. Gurez experiences typical Kashmiri weather, with winter lows as low as -10°C and summer highs as high as 27°C. Gurez normally remains inaccessible from mid-December through the beginning of March. The months of May through October are the best for travel to Gurez. Gurez is a great area to go camping, rock climbing, and fishing for a few days. You may feel revitalised by the KishanGanga's cool, flowing waters. Your tired eyes will feel soothed by the enormous, green-laden mountains. What To Expect

    DAY 1 : Arrival in Srinagar – Gurez Valley (123 km, 6 to 7 hours of drive).

    When you arrive in Srinagar, a representative from our company will greet and assist you. After that, you will travel through Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora area on your way to Gurez Valley. Gurez is in the Himalayas, so getting there would be a spectacular adventure. A pleasure for the eyes is nature's beauty. Visit Razdan Top, which is on the route and is 11,672 feet above sea level. Your heart rate will increase as you travel the routes leading to Razdan Top. You can view Harmukh Peak, the highest mountain in the Himalayas, when you reach the summit of Razdan.
    When you arrive at Gurez Valley, check into your hotel, have dinner, and get ready to stay the night.

    DAY 2 : Gurez Local Sightseeing

    With breakfast in the morning, begin the second day of your incredible 4 night, 5 day, stunning Gurez valley tour, and prepare for local sightseeing in Gurez.
    You'll be visiting the adjacent town of Dawar today. The inhabitants of Dawar are referred to as "Dards." They reside in stunning log homes. You can interact with them and learn about their daily life there. You can also go to the town's archaeological sites.
    Habba Khatoon peak, one of the stunning pyramid-shaped mountain summits, is another place you'll go. In honour of renowned Kashmiri poetess Habba Khatoon, this hill bears her name. Your attention will be drawn to the magnificent spring that flows from the peak. The spring's water is crystal clear and provides a wide range of therapeutic benefits. Don't forget to take pictures of the crystal-clear water cascading from the charming spring.
    In the evening head back to the hotel. Take your dinner and have a good sleep.

    DAY 3 : Gurez – Tulail – Gurez (40 km, 2 hours)

    Breakfast first thing in the morning, then get ready to drive to Tulail, the most isolated valley in the area. You will travel via Dawar to get to Tulail.
    The best spot to find tranquilly is in Tulail. When you arrive, take a stroll about the area and take in the scenery to fully appreciate it. The beauty of Mother Nature is perfectly captured in this location. The meadows' luxuriant greenery is particularly eye-catching.
    You will stop in at the locations nearer the line of control on your way back to the Gurez valley. You will go to the villages of Chakwali and Sheikhpura. They add to the valley's beauty in yet another way.
    In the evening head back to Gurez valley for an overnight stay.

    DAY 4 : Gurez to Srinagar (123 km, 6 to 7 hours of drive)

    Your enchanted Gurez valley tour's fourth day starts with a hearty breakfast. After that, you prepare to drive to Srinagar.
    The route to Srinagar will be filled with breathtaking natural scenery. The Izamrg settlement is a convenient place to pause. Take walks around the lush meadows while taking photos.
    Check into the hotel for the night when you arrive in Srinagar. Take your meal, then get a nice night's sleep.

    DAY 5 : Srinagar Airport Departure

    After having your breakfast, proceed to the airport in Srinagar to catch your next flight.
