4N / 5DSrinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Sonmarg

Start in Agra, land in Srinagar and let a local team handle the hotels, the private cab and a pace that suits your group.
The short version for Agra: close enough for a compact trip, with 4–6 nights working for most travellers.
From Agra, 4–6 nights is comfortable for most travellers: the journey is short, so your days go to Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam rather than to transit. We are a travel agency based in Srinagar, so our plans follow real road, weather and hotel conditions: Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonmarg, with the quieter Gurez Valley as a seasonal option.

By air
Start from Agra Airport (AGR), which has limited flights; Delhi's DEL is the main gateway. Because choices are limited, compare it with larger airports nearby and connect through Delhi if that saves time. Nonstop flights have been listed on recent schedules from the airport mentioned above, but timetables change, so confirm before booking.
By train
Rail is a realistic option from Agra: trains run toward Jammu Tawi and Katra, and from there you can continue to Srinagar on the Vande Bharat train or by road. Check IRCTC for current timetables.
By road
Driving is possible but it is a long haul, and the Jammu–Srinagar highway can be affected by weather. Most travellers prefer to fly or take the train and use a cab in the valley. See our Kashmir cab booking page.
Send us your flight or train details and we plan the Srinagar pick-up around them. A Vande Bharat train connects Katra and Srinagar and was extended to Jammu Tawi in 2026; timetables change, so check IRCTC.
Uttar Pradesh is large, so the best starting point depends on your city: Lucknow, Varanasi and Prayagraj have airports, while western districts often use Delhi. Many families combine winter snow with a Vaishno Devi stop.
Take a morning departure from Agra, check in, and use the first evening for a shikara ride. Follow with Gulmarg and Pahalgam, and add Sonmarg as a day trip if the season allows.
Diwali, Dussehra and the summer holidays are the busiest weeks, and winter suits families who want snow.
For month-by-month conditions, see our honeymoon packages guide and the article on how much a Kashmir trip costs.
Every package page lists its inclusions and exclusions. Read our cancellation and refund policy and the Kashmir travel FAQs, and check current travel advisories before you book.
The cost of a Kashmir tour package generally starts from ₹6,000 per person and can go up to ₹40,000 or more per person, depending on the travel requirements.
The final price depends on the number of days, number of travellers, travel season, hotel category, transportation, meal plan, and destinations included in your itinerary. Standard, Deluxe, Super Deluxe, and Premium packages are available to suit different budgets (see our budget tours and all Kashmir holiday packages).
For example, travellers looking for a budget-friendly holiday may choose standard accommodation, while honeymoon couples may prefer premium hotels or a luxury houseboat on Nigeen Lake.
At Acme Tour & Travels, we recommend comparing the complete package inclusions rather than choosing an option based on price alone. Our guide on how much a Kashmir trip will cost explains the cost breakdown in detail.
We generally recommend 5 nights and 6 days for a relaxed first Kashmir trip. This gives you more time to explore the major destinations without rushing between places.
Suggested durations include:
For travellers interested in offbeat places, photography, or a slower holiday, we recommend allowing a week or longer.
We recommend booking in advance, particularly during summer holidays, the tulip season, New Year, and other busy travel periods.
Advance planning gives you a better opportunity to compare accommodation, confirm suitable rooms and vehicles, and organise your preferred itinerary. Availability and rates can change as demand increases.
We have helped travellers who arrived in Kashmir without confirmed hotel and cab arrangements and then struggled to find suitable options at reasonable prices.
For this reason, we recommend confirming your accommodation and transport before departure rather than relying entirely on last-minute arrangements. You can contact our Srinagar team to start planning.
Yes. At Acme Tour & Travels, we can customise your Kashmir package according to your budget, travel dates, group size, preferred hotels, vehicle requirements, and sightseeing interests.
You can request a family holiday, honeymoon package, budget trip, luxury experience, or itinerary that includes offbeat destinations.
We can also adjust the number of nights spent in Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam to make the trip more comfortable. Customisation depends on availability, road conditions, and the feasibility of your requested itinerary.
Kashmir is beautiful throughout the year, but the best month depends on the experience you want.
Each season offers a different side of Kashmir. Our recommendation is to select your travel dates according to your preferred experiences, budget, and comfort.
Share your dates, number of travellers and hotel preference. We reply by phone or WhatsApp with an itinerary and a written quote.
