Brief Introduction of Razdan Top

Harmukh Brief Introduction of Razdan Top

This pass is impossible to convey in words, and images don't do it justice. In the Bandipora area of the Kashmir valley, Razdan Pass, also known as Razdan Top, is a high mountain pass at 3,557 metres (11,672 feet) above sea level and 5 kilometres from Peer Baba Dargah. Additionally, Razdan delineates the two areas as distinct geographical and sociocultural environments. It has one of the world's most terrifying highways. The road's steepest section is composed of concrete tiles and is surrounded in numerous spots by drops of hundreds of metres without guardrails.

This pass is closed for four months out of the year because of the significant winter snowfall. Because the valley is cut off from the rest of Union Territory and the outside world while this pass is blocked, the Gurez live a busy existence during these months. The connection between Gurez and the rest of Kashmir that it formerly provided between Kashmir and Central Asia is now very shaky. Peer Baba and Tragbal are two further calming locations near Razdhan Pass.

Despite its challenges, this route provides some spectacular views of Harmukh Mountain. 200 metres after crossing the Army Camp, you will arrive to a location known as Shae Batteh (white stones), which ignite when rubbed together. Additionally, you may take in this location's view of Zetikus Road.
